On Monday evening, March 8, 2021, a woman was seriously injured, as a result of the bombing by the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, on residential neighborhoods in the city of Hais, south of Hodeidah.

A medical source at Al-Khokha Hospital stated that Zahra Ahmed Jamal (35 years old) had received wounds in the back by shrapnel of a 23-caliber (MT) weapon, after Houthi targeted residential neighborhoods in Hais.

The source said that the patient's condition is very serious, and she will be referred to Doctors Without Borders in Mocha for treatment.

The Houthi crime came a day after the militia committed a similar crime in the same directorate, where a child was wounded on Sunday by a Houthi sniper bullets, bringing the number of victims of Houthi violations since the beginning of January of this year to 54 civilians who were killed or wounded.
