Aden, NewsYemen:

The head of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council, Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Braik, vowed to turn the tables, and alluded to Statement No. (1) from Khormaksar Square in the capital, Aden.

Major General Ibn Brik said in a tweet on his Twitter page: “Plan (c) Abyan and Lahj today and tomorrow we will turn the tables, and there is no room for evasion. Statement No. (1) from Tahrir Square, Bakhoor Maksar, will be shortly afterwards, God willing."

The head of the Autonomous Administration added: "The people of the south are rallying around their leadership in the Transitional Council."

Hundreds of protesters gathered, on the third day, in front of the "Maasheeq" Palace in the capital, Aden, to demand payment of salaries of public sector employees and the provision of necessary services to citizens.

The protesters arrived at the palace while Prime Minister Moein Abdel-Malek and some members of the government were still inside the building.

The southern governorates, led by Aden, have been witnessing popular demonstrations for weeks to protest against the deterioration of services and to demand an end to the collapse of the currency and the disbursement of salaries amid neglect by the legitimacy.
