The army repelled a Houthi attack in "Abs", killing dozens on both sides

Dozens of members of the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, were killed and wounded in clashes with government forces in the Abs district of Hajjah governorate, northwestern Yemen.

A military source said, that the army forces repelled an attack by the Houthi militia on government forces' positions on the Abs front, confirming that the battles resulted in the killing of more than 20 militia members, while seven of the army were killed.

The source added that the coalition fighters launched raids on Tuesday morning, destroying a tank, 23 caliber weapon and a Houthi weapons store on the same front.

The "Abs" fronts have been witnessing confrontations between the army and the Houthi militia, since last Friday, after the Fifth Military Region forces announced the liberation of large areas of the Badah area, killing, wounding and capturing dozens of Houthi militia.
