Ibb, NewsYemen:

The Houthi militia, the Iranian arm, in Ibb Governorate, in central Yemen, forced government employees to participate in the fighting fronts, coinciding with the retreat of the militia on many fronts.

Activists on social media published a Houthi circular issued by what is known as the director of the Ibb Countryside Directorate, Muhammad Abdullah Al-Shabibi, in which he obligated the offices of public works, endowments, transportation, tourism, local administration and zakat, to provide their combat fronts with specific numbers in an obligatory and compulsory manner.

The Houthi circular demanded from the Works Office “six individuals” and from zakat “five people,” and from the endowment “4” and from transportation “2” in addition to a person from tourism, and three from the local administration, for stationing at one of the fronts (not mentioned) from the date of Yesterday, Thursday 3/18/2021.

The circular indicated that the gathering point will be at the gates of the sports stadium at two o'clock in the afternoon, Thursday.

The forced mobilization operations come in light of widespread rejection and reluctance of citizens in the governorate controlled by the militia to participate in the fighting alongside the Iranian-backed group.
