The Arab Coalition announced, on Saturday, the interception and destruction of an explosive drone launched by the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, towards Khamis Mushait, in Saudi Arabia.

The coalition stated that the Iranian-backed Houthi militia continues to try to target civilians.

The coalition stressed that it takes all operational measures to protect civilians from terrorist attacks.

On Friday, an official in the Saudi Ministry of Energy announced that the Riyadh refinery had been subjected to a terrorist attack by drones.

During the recent period, the Houthi militia intensified its attempts to target civilian and economic objects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with ballistic missiles and explosive drones.
