A citizen was killed and four others were wounded by shrapnel of a mortar shell fired by the Houthi militia, on Sunday, in front of the Faculty of Arts, east of Taiz, central Yemen.
A local source told (NewsYemen) that the Houthi militia bombed with mortar shells and howitzers from their positions in the Al-Hawban area, on Sunday, the fourth and ardi point, east of Taiz.
According to the source, a Houthi mortar shell fell amid a gathering of motorcyclists in front of the Faculty of Arts, killing a citizen and wounding four others, one of whom was in critical condition, and they were all taken to hospital.
In the past hours, the Houthi militia bombed with heavy artillery a number of residential neighborhoods in the east of Taiz and the Sabr Al-Mawadim District, in the southeast of the governorate.
