A leader of the Brotherhood militia was killed, south of Taiz

A prominent leader in the Qatari-funded MB militia was killed by Houthi militia fire last night, Sunday, in Haifan district, south of Taiz governorate, central Yemen.

A military source told "NewsYemen" that Colonel Abdo Numan Al-Zariqi, the commander of the Fourth Mountain Infantry Brigade - an unofficial Brotherhood brigade - was killed along with other gunmen, last Sunday night, in Al-Ahkum area in Haifan District, south of Taiz.

Colonel Abdo Numan Al-Zoraiqi was one of the most prominent leaders of the Brotherhood's Hashd militia, and he worked with all his energy on targeting the forces of the 35th Armored Brigade before and after the assassination of Major General Adnan Al Hammadi.

The killing of Abdo Al-Zoriki coincides with the first anniversary of the funeral of Major General Adnan Al Hammadi to his final resting place in his hometown.
