The Southern Transitional welcomes the Saudi initiative to end the war in Yemen

The Southern Transitional Council welcomed the Saudi initiative to end the Yemeni crisis and reach a comprehensive political solution, and the council appreciated the keenness and efforts of the Arab coalition led by the Kingdom towards achieving lasting peace and stabilizing stability in the south and Yemen.
The Southern Transitional stressed the importance of the Saudi initiative in terms of its inclusiveness of all parties as a real guarantee of progress towards a permanent solution, in a way that guarantees the representation of all parties, and in the priority of that the legitimate national aspirations of the people of the South, and their right to restore and build their state, identity and sovereignty.
The Transitional Council also stressed the urgent necessity to find urgent solutions to the escalating humanitarian crisis and the comprehensive economic collapse, and expressed its deep regret at the difficult living conditions that people face.
