Aden, NewsYemen:

The Houthi militia - the Iranian arm in Yemen - admitted 11 of its members were responsible for the brutal massacre of hundreds of Ethiopians in Sanaa.

While Ethiopian sources reported that the victims of the massacre exceeded hundreds, the Ministry of Interior of the Houthi government stated that an investigation conducted by it concluded that 11 armed men of its members had killed 45 Ethiopian immigrants and injured 170 others, in Sana'a and the death of a migrant at a later time out of 5 who are still in Intensive care.

On March 7, a fire broke out in one of the illegal detention centers in the Passport Building, after Houthi gunmen threw smoke grenades of the type "CS" into the wards where detained Ethiopian immigrants were.

The statement of the Ministry of Interior of the militia claimed that the ward in which the accident occurred is not a place of detention, as some organizations, including the International Organization for Migration, have promoted, but rather a shelter that was assisted by the immigration organization itself.

The International Organization for Migration has previously condemned the incident and denied that it is harboring any of the displaced or immigrants in Sana'a or any country around the world.
