The joint forces thwarted escalations by the Houthi militia, Iran's arm in Yemen, with tight strikes while the militias were digging new trenches in the Al-Aden Triangle, north of the city of Hais, south of Hodeidah.

A military source in the 11th Giants Brigade told a NewsYemen correspondent, that the brigade's reconnaissance detected Houthi elements excavating trenches and fortifications that make the militias a starting point for their attacks and a place to position them to hide their artillery and weapons that target civilian neighborhoods.

He added that these actions come within the Houthi escalations through which the series of violations of the UN armistice is practiced, but the joint forces out of their belief in securing civilian lives, and for fear of committing new massacres against the people of Hays, they were able to direct preemptive and courtly strikes against the Houthi elements, and inflicted a number of  Houthi dead and wounded.
