Local sources reported that the Houthi militia exhumed the graves of the tribesmen who opposed it, located in the areas under its control, in the southern governorate of Ma'rib, describing this incident as unprecedented in Yemen.

She added that elements belonging to the Houthi militia exhumed the grave of Sheikh Saeed Darkam Al-Mouradi, took his remains, and tampered with other graves in the Baqth district of the Rahba district.

The sources indicated that Sheikh Saeed is the father of the commander of the rescue forces in Ma'rib Governorate, Brigadier General Ahmed Saeed Darkam grave in this cemetery in July 2020.

pointed out that a week before this incident, a gang had been arrested while trying to dig up the grave of the former Special Security Forces commander, Abdul Ghani Shaalan, to take his body.
