The transitional calls on the government to implement its obligations towards the protesters' demands

The Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council warned, on Wednesday, of the attempts of those affected by the Riyadh Agreement to disturb the public peace and stability of society, by directing the killing squads and terrorist acts to implement suspicious agendas far from the interests of citizens, and at the expense, prestige and reputation of the Arab coalition countries.

This came during a meeting held under the chairmanship of Dr. Al-Khubaji, Acting Chairman of the Council, in the capital, Aden.

The meeting renewed the appreciation of the initiative presented by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to address the crisis in Yemen through a comprehensive ceasefire and entering into negotiations and a peaceful settlement with the participation of all parties, stressing the importance of addressing the difficult humanitarian situation and providing citizens' needs.

The meeting discussed the report submitted by the General Secretariat on the economic, service, and difficult living conditions, power cuts for long hours, the suspension of salaries, the continued collapse of the value of the local currency, and the corresponding rise in the prices of basic commodities with the onset of the summer season, and the approaching month of Ramadan.  .

In this regard, the commission renewed its call for the parity government to implement its declared obligations, and to respond quickly to the demands of the protesters who went out to demonstrate in the various governorates, after it was given the opportunity to address the existing situation as it is a direct responsibility that falls on its shoulders and should be achieved soon, away from the procrastination and political recruitment that  It aims to disrupt public life and torpedo efforts to implement the Riyadh Agreement.
