The Executive Unit for the Management of Displaced Persons Camps in Ma'rib Governorate announced that five women were injured, and that the homes and properties of a number of displaced people were damaged and destroyed due to the bombing of the Houthi militia - the Iranian arm in Yemen - targeting camps for the displaced in Marib.

The Executive Unit said, in a statement published by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), on Tuesday evening, "Last Sunday, the terrorist Houthi militia bombed the (Al-Mil-Al-Khair-Tawasul) camps with heavy weapons, artillery shells and missiles, in conjunction with the visit of the United Nations Resident Coordinator for Humanitarian Affairs in Yemen to Yemen.  Governorate".

added, "Five women were injured, three of them seriously, in addition to the destruction and burning of 27 tents and 18 water tanks."

The Executive Unit for the Displaced Persons indicated that the terrorist Houthi militia continues its systematic violations and horrific crimes against the displaced and civilians in the Marib Governorate, calling on the United Nations, the international community and organizations concerned with humanitarian affairs to move urgently to stop the continuous Houthi attacks on the displaced in the governorate of Ma'rib and condemn the militia's bombing of camps and gatherings of displaced people and pressure  It must stop its systematic escalation against civilians in the governorate.
