Al-Ittihad: The Saudi initiative is only a lifeline to get out of the crisis, and Al-Houthi must rule the mind

An Emirati newspaper, under the heading "A Lonely Salvation Ring", stated that an Arab and international consensus lined up behind the support of the Saudi initiative to end the crisis in Yemen and reach a comprehensive political solution. However, this exceptional unity in the situation continues to clash with the intransigence front of the "Houthis" who reject any settlement that ends  Conflict and alleviate the suffering of the people.

The newspaper "Al-Ittihad" - in its Wednesday issue - said that the initiative included clear provisions for a comprehensive ceasefire, the opening of Sanaa International Airport, the entry of food and oil derivatives ships into Hodeidah, through a mechanism for depositing taxes and revenues, and launching negotiations for a political solution based on the terms of the Gulf initiative.  And the outcomes of the national dialogue and international resolution 2216.

The Federation clarified that the UAE, in its full support for the Saudi initiative, and its commitment to support the aspirations of the Yemeni people in development, prosperity, peace and stability, urges the international community to join efforts to ensure that all parties adhere to this precious opportunity to cease fire and pave the way for a lasting political solution, noting that in return, it did not include  The "Houthis" responded in rejecting the initiative, until now, that is, any justification other than allegations and lies, accompanied by bad intentions to move forward with their attacks, whether inside Yemen or towards the sisterly kingdom.

The newspaper concluded by saying, “Nevertheless, the Saudi initiative remains in effect, the only lifeline currently to get out of the crisis, to stop the bloodshed and reach a comprehensive solution, and the door is not closed to the" Houthis "if they choose to arbitrate the mind, and to be partners in achieving peace, and a hand.  For development, away from the inciters who use them as an arm of terrorism.
