The Houthi militia, Iran's arm in Yemen, burned two trucks loaded with oil derivatives in the Dar al-Sabie area, southwest of Hays, in the Hodeidah governorate.
Eyewitnesses said that the militias burned them due to the failure of the drivers of the two trucks to pay levies to the Houthi elements in the points located in the areas under their control.
The Houthi militia imposes the payment of sums of money as levies on the drivers of oil derivatives trucks and trucks that transport commercial goods, to be used in the so-called war effort, which doubled the losses of traders and increased the suffering of citizens in the militia-controlled areas.
The Houthi militia continues to practice its violations and arbitrary actions against travelers and truck drivers, using methods of abuse, intimidation and extortion by force of arms.
