The death of the head of special forces operations in Marib

An official in the Special Security Forces in the city of Marib was killed, according to local sources today.
The sources said that the head of special forces operations in Marib, Brigadier General Saleh Laddad Al-Abab, was killed, along with a number of his companions, after a bomb exploded in the military vehicle he was traveling in west of the city where confrontations are continuing against the Iranian militia.
Other sources said it was fired by an artillery shell during armed confrontations with the Houthi militia.
Brigadier General Saleh Al-Abab was appointed in early March as head of special forces operations in Marib, succeeding Brigadier General Nawfal Al-Houri, who was killed in battles against the Houthis in Jabal Al-Balk late last February.
