The Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, incurred great losses among its elements in direct confrontations on one of the Al Dhali fronts.
Field military sources indicated that the joint forces, the Southern Resistance and the Security Belt in Al-Dhalea governorate thwarted a large-scale attack by the Houthi militia towards their positions in the Sabira sector / Al-Jeb, northwest of the governorate.
The sources indicated that the battle continued for more than an hour, during which the Houthi militia supported its attacking elements with BMP weapons, mortars, and various medium and light caliber.
The sources added that the Houthi militia was defeated and returned to its defeat after it suffered heavy losses in the ranks of its members in direct confrontations at a distance of zero, in which grenades and RPG-7 launchers were used.
