The capital, Aden, has a special way in welcoming the month of blessing and goodness, the month of Ramadan, as most of Aden's directorates witnessed a special decoration of the streets, alleys, homes and shops, decorated with light bulbs, which delighted the city with its wonderful views.
The markets of Aden on the night of the first of Ramadan witnessed overcrowding and congestion with shoppers to buy basic Al-Barakah month's supplies, despite the living conditions that the governorate is going through as a result of poor services, such as electricity and other services.
On the first days of the holy month, the city of Crater was covered with breakfast tables and various foods that are specially prepared in Ramadan, such as (samosas, baguettes, cattles, mutabak) and other items that the breakfast table is not complete without.
Meanwhile, some city neighborhoods witnessed games in which the elderly and youth played together, such as football, volleyball, billiards, etc.
The shopkeepers were optimistic, as the month of Ramadan comes with its bounties as it happens every year, hoping for a purchasing movement that improves conditions.
In Adeni youth initiatives, the youth distributed breakfast meals to various districts to needy families. This campaign was donated by philanthropists, so that good may prevail for most people in this holy month
This Ramadan festive atmosphere comes despite the troubles of the situation and services, yet the souls of Adenis are still sparkling with joy, and customs and traditions still remain in the Adeni community.
