The death of the former Minister of Finance, Dr. Saif Al-Asali, of Corona

The former Minister of Finance, Dr. Saif Mahyoub Al-Asali, died in the capital, Sanaa, on Thursday, of complications from his infection with the emerging coronavirus "Covid-19".

Medical sources stated that Dr. Al-Asali died in a hospital in Sana'a, days after his infection with the Coronavirus.

He added that the former Minister of Finance, who holds a PhD in economics from the United States of America, his health deteriorated after he responded to treatment, and died today.

Al-Asali, born in the Jabal Habashi district in Taiz governorate, south of Taiz in 1956, is a politician and professor of economics, and he is married and has eight children, 4 sons and 4 daughters.

Master degree in economics from the United States of America in 1986 with distinction with honors.

PhD in economics from the United States of America 1990 with honors.
