Taiz, NewsYemen, Exclusive:

The mysteries of what is happening in the isolation centers in Taiz Governorate, which are witnessing an increase in cases of Coronavirus infection, began to reveal suspicion and suspicion in light of the low numbers announced about deaths or recoveries and the increase in support provided by multiple parties.

Community activist Mohamed Al-Haddad, vice president of the supervisory committee and interested in providing services to isolation centers, revealed in a series of posts on his Facebook page about what is happening in the isolation center at the Republican Hospital, as well as donations coming from philanthropists, organizations or businessmen.

Al-Haddad called on those who donated medicines to the Republican Hospital to place a delegate before them to disburse treatments directly to patients, because the medicines are stolen and do not reach the sick.

Al-Haddad inferred the condition of a patient who was unable to buy medicine and his relatives borrowed more than one million five hundred thousand, and now they decided for them in the isolation department a prescription of treatments for 240,000 riyals and they did not get any medicine from inside the hospital pharmacy, and their condition is in dire need of treatment.

Al-Haddad sent a letter to the head of the emergency committee, the governor’s deputy, Arif Jamal, in which he asked him to investigate what is happening at Al-Jumhouri Hospital, and how treatments are requested for a single patient with amounts of up to 300,000 riyals per day ... in addition to an inventory of treatments and supplies donated by organizations and philanthropists, and he does not know where  You go.

Al-Haddad said, in the context of his publications directed to Aref Gamal: "Oh, Sheikh of Emergencies, called Muhammad Ghaleb, he sells the ordinary grave in Al-Saeed cemetery for 45,000 and the tourist grave for 90,000, and whoever has no money threatens them to remove the dead from inside the grave."

Al-Haddad added, "You steal them while they are alive, and install them while they are dead, and you say that the graves are free from the local authority."

As attention went to the isolation center in the Republic, it became clear that there is another isolation center in the Government Cooperation Center, which has become private property for islah.

On the other hand, journalist Tayeb Rashad, whose grandmother passed away in the isolation center of the Republican Hospital, revealed what is happening there, in a post on his page in which he says: "Isolation patients in the Republican Hospital in Taiz are under the control of Nashwan Al-Husami, Director of Al-Jomhori Hospital."

Rashad lied to those who say that there is treatment and sanitary isolation.  He called on the families of the patients to leave their patients at home under the supervision of any doctor.

Al-Husami added: "Patients are treated carelessly, private rooms are reserved for specific patients and those with mediation, and there are special cases with the director of Al-Jumhoori Hospital and the director of the governorate's health office, Dr. Rajeh Al-Maliki seizing the private rooms and oxygen according to medical sources there."

Rashad said: "Imagine the simplest sanitary tools are not available. An oxygen mask not available and your patient dies of suffocation, scandals that we will not be silent about, and the issue has a rest, and it is a call to all investigative journalists to exhume this inhuman file."

In turn, journalist Wajdi Al-Salmi, who follows up on corruption issues in the Health Bureau, said: "The evacuation statements included the funds allocated to confront Corona in Taiz, which were provided by the Director of the Health Office to the competent authorities, disbursing feed to the isolation center amounting to 30 million and 415 thousand riyals."

He added that when this was checked and verified, it became clear with documents that the bodies providing nutrition are: the World Health Organization, Hayel Saeed Anam Group, philanthropists, and local organizations.

Pointing out that, through his field visit to the Republican Hospital in Taiz, “it became clear that the isolation center is practicing discrimination between Corona patients ... There are cases discarded in the Al-Jomhori Hospital emergency without any care, and cases are lined up on close beds, and all of them are out of concern ... and there are individual rooms dedicated to specific cases.  From the wealthy families or the families of officials, politicians, and mediation owners, and all resources are available and subject to special medical care.

In another publication, Al-Salmi confirmed that the Director General of the Health Office, Rajeh Al-Malki, presented "to the competent authorities to examine the release of the funds allocated to confront the Corona epidemic in Taiz Governorate, statements that include the purchase of a blood gas device for Khalifa Hospital in Al-Turbah City, at a value of 10 million and 800 thousand riyals."

Al-Salmi explained that, "through a field visit to the verification and verification process, it became clear that the device is not present in the hospital, as well as the absence of any documents supporting the examination process and the hospital's warehouse supply."

He added, "Inquiries were made about the financial affairs of the Health Office and he reported that the device was purchased by Khalifa Hospital and the amount was disbursed to him by the Director General of the Health Office directly without the knowledge and knowledge of the Director of Financial Affairs in the Health Office, as well as not informing the Director of Finance and Procurement at Khalifa Hospital."

When the director of Khalifa Hospital in Al-Turbah City was confronted with this, he said: The device was taken out for maintenance.  When documents were requested confirming the device's exit from the hospital for maintenance and the number of the engineer doing the maintenance, the hospital director was silent forever.

It is known that the maintenance of medical devices is carried out inside hospitals and not outside them, concluding with his publication, "The final result: it became clear that the director of Khalifa Hospital was lying and participating in the director of the Health Office in this corruption deal ... and that the device really does not exist."
