The joint forces announced, on Tuesday, the killing of a leader in the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, while thwarting an infiltration attempt in Al-Hodeidah Governorate, in the west of the country.

The Media Center for the Giants Brigades stated that the joint forces quelled Houthi movements and an infiltration attempt on the Hais front, southeast of Hodeidah, with decisive strikes that killed their ranks, including a prominent leader named Abadi Abdulbari Al-Ghalisi.

He explained that Al-Ghalisi is one of the people of Al-Jarahi District, and the group appointed him to supervise armed groups in Hais.

He pointed out that "the Houthis received a great loss in the Al-Duraihimi district, south of Hodeidah, represented in the killing and wounding of a number of their members by the joint forces' fire in response to the killing of a civilian and the injury of another."
