A Houthi dose that jumps gasoline prices to 11,000 riyals

Limited terminals for bottling oil derivatives opened their doors in Sana'a to sell oil derivatives at black market prices managed by the Houthi militia - the Iranian arm in Yemen - in Sanaa and its neighboring governorates.

On the afternoon of Tuesday 20 April 2021 AD, oil derivative filling stations were seen receiving citizens' cars after many months of closing these stations, in exchange for the recovery of black market points near those stations and in the streets and public squares.

With these developments, the price of the 20-liter petrol bear in these stations jumped to 11 thousand riyals, an increase of 5 thousand riyals over the official default price in Sanaa and the neighboring governorates, and a difference of 3 thousand riyals from the last price of the black market, Which recorded on Tuesday, (14) thousand riyals for a petrol bear with a capacity of (20) liters.
