The Houthi militia - the Iranian arm in Yemen - made a cabinet reshuffle in its virtual government in Sanaa, in which it filled vacant ministerial positions with others loyal to it.

The Houthi militia appointed the leader in its ranks, Amer Ali Amer Al-Marani, to the position of Minister of Transport, to succeed the Houthi leader Zakaria Al-Shami, who died in a mysterious accident and his body lasted for weeks without a funeral until Friday 23 April.

The amendment included the appointment of the leader in the ranks of the Houthi militia, Salim Al-Mughalis, as Minister of Civil Service and Insurance.

The Houthi militia changed the positions of Minister of Justice and Attorney General, whereby it brought Judge Nabil Nasser Al-Ezzani - appointed to the position of Public Prosecutor - to the position of Minister of Justice, succeeding the leader in its ranks, Judge Muhammad Al-Dailami, who took him to the position of Attorney General.

The Houthi militia appointed the scholar Muhammad Husayn Majd al-Din al-Moaydi, son of the founder of Majd al-Din al-Moaydi University in the Dhahyan area of Saada governorate, to the position of Minister of Youth and Sports, succeeding the leader of the Al-Haq Party, Hassan Zaid, who was assassinated in Sanaa in late October of last year 2020 In mysterious circumstances.
