A high-ranking military official was killed in the Houthi bombing of the Ministry of Defense in Marib

 A high-ranking military official was killed by missile strikes by the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, on Tuesday evening, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Defense in Marib, east of the country.

Military sources said that the Houthis targeted, with a ballistic missile, the headquarters of the Ministry of Defense in the Sahn al-Jin camp, which led to the killing of the Director of the Department of Officers Affairs in the ministry, Brigadier General Abdul-Ghani Salman, and wounding a number of other soldiers, including at least one officer.

It was added that the attack was targeting the Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Muhammad al-Maqdishi, who survived the bombing.
