Aden, NewsYemen:

Ali Al-Imad, a member of the so-called Political Council of the Houthi militia, stressed that his group would not allow the independence of the south.

In a televised intervention on Al-Hurra, the General said that his group will not allow the independence of southern Yemen, stressing that they will fight until the forces of the countries of aggression are expelled from the southern governorates.

He pointed out that the decision of independence or separation is up to the Yemeni people, and that the Yemeni people reject the idea of   the south’s independence from the north, explaining that “this decision is a decision whose alliance is the Arab coalition countries, not the southerners,” as he claimed.

The general affirmed that the dialogue will be with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and not with the Yemeni parties opposing their project in Yemen.
