The United Nations mission condemns the Houthi massacre in Hodeidah

The United Nations Mission to Support the Hodeidah Agreement (UNMHA) condemned, on Monday, May 17, 2021 AD, the bombing of the terrorist Houthi militia, a popular market in the Al-Durayhimi district in Hodeidah governorate.

The head of the mission, Abhijit Jouha, condemned the crime, pointing to the continued neglect of civilian lives, in residential areas, in Hodeidah.

The UN official appealed to abide by the protection of civilians under international humanitarian law, calling for the sanctity of human life to be respected and protected.

And on Sunday, the Houthi militia targeted a popular market in the Taif area, south of Hodeidah, with a drone aircraft, which resulted in the death of a civilian and wounding five others.
