Three dead and one wounded in armed clashes at a Houthi point east of Ibb

Four people were killed and injured in armed clashes in Ibb governorate in central Yemen, in light of security chaos in the governorate under the control of the Houthi militia, Iran's arm in Yemen.

Local sources said that three people were killed and a fourth wounded in armed clashes that took place in the orphanage area, east of the city of Ibb.

The sources added that the Houthi militia killed a citizen of the family of Beit Al-Olfi a few days ago, so that a number of his family launched an armed attack on the members of the Houthi point, causing two deaths and injuries.

According to the sources, the dead man was an officer in the criminal investigation, in addition to another soldier, working under the control of the Houthi militia.

The sources reported that the dead officer was called "Anwar Al-Samit" and had no direct connection to the previous murder in which a citizen of the Beit Al-Olfi family was killed.

Ibb governorate is witnessing a security chaos that has increased the rates of crime, murder, looting and robbery of citizens' public and private properties.
