Aden, NewsYemen, special:

The electricity sector of the capital, Aden, witnessed a significant improvement in the past days, as the generation capacity increased due to the entry of generators into service after the arrival of the necessary spare parts and maintenance, after they were stopped, such as the Mansoura and Arsila station, generator No. 1 and 6, with a power of twenty megabytes for the two generators.

Ahmed Saeed Karama Jubah, a member of the Aden Electricity Supervisory Committee, told NewsYemen: "The electricity crisis is a complex, between deliberate government failure to provide spare parts, and the provision of fuel needed for power plants on an ongoing basis.

Jobah indicated that Aden Electricity applied for spare parts in 2019, and the parts arrived in 2021, and that providing spare parts was a routine procedure, and the government paid their value, and it was delayed until this year due to procrastination and procrastination to make room for the purchased energy.

He stressed that the availability of fuel does not mean raising the obstetric capacity, but rather stabilizing the existing generation. Raising the obstetric capacity requires new stations and the necessary lifetime maintenance for the existing stations, explaining that the improvement continues unless it is faced with the high loads by consumers.

He added, with regard to the generating capacity, generators entered service after the arrival of the necessary spare parts and maintenance, such as the Mansoura and Arsila station, generator No. 1 and 6, with a power of 20 megawatts for the two generators, which were stopped due to the lack of spare parts, while Shahnaz station was generating 5 megawatts before the arrival of spare parts.  Now, after the arrival of spare parts, 22 megawatts.
