Aden, NewsYemen:

A field leader of the Houthi militia was killed, in clashes with government forces, in Al-Jawf Governorate, northern Yemen.

Military sources said that the Houthi leader, "Abu Hashem Sharaf al-Din", was killed in battles with the army and tribes in Al-Jawf.

On Monday, government forces and tribesmen repelled a Houthi attack on the Khanjar front.

Violent confrontations erupted after the Houthi militia attempted to advance towards the "Al-Zohour" and "Al-Raqib Al-Abyad" mountains, which resulted in deaths and injuries on both sides.

Simultaneously, Arab coalition fighters launched raids on Houthi sites at the front, killing and wounding dozens of militia members, and destroying their vehicles and combat mechanisms.

In other raids, the coalition aircraft also targeted Houthi reinforcements that were coming from the city of Al-Hazm, the capital of Al-Jawf Governorate.
