Al-Jawf: Battles, raids and a prisoner exchange deal

 Violent confrontations erupted between the army and tribes on the one hand, and the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, on the other hand, in the Khanjar front, north of the city of Al-Hazm in Al-Jawf Governorate, in the north of the country.

A military source stated that groups of the Houthi militia attacked military sites west of the Khanjar front, but the army forces repelled the attack and forced the militia to retreat.

According to the source, clashes took place, resulting in deaths and injuries on both sides.

At the same time, the Arab coalition fighters, in several raids, targeted gatherings and reinforcements of the Houthi militia in separate locations on the Khanjar front.

 In addition, the government forces concluded a new prisoner exchange deal with the Houthi militia, in Al-Jawf.

The official in charge of the prisoners' file in the Sixth Military Region, Colonel Yahya Al-Hasser, said that the exchange deal that took place today, east of Al-Jawf, released 8 National Army soldiers in exchange for 8 members of the Houthi militia.
