The perpetrators of the "Zinjubar" massacre admit the involvement of "legitimacy" in the terrorist operation

Abyan, NewsYemen:

 The Security Belt forces, in Abyan governorate, in southern Yemen, arrested two elements involved in carrying out a terrorist bombing in Zinjubar, which resulted in the deaths of dozens of soldiers, from the Third Brigade of Support and Support, on Friday.

The two detained members of the Security Belt, during interrogations with them, acknowledged the responsibility of members of the forces affiliated with the "legitimate" in the "Modiyah" district, for planning the suicide attack in the city of Zinjubar, the capital of the province.

One of them, A.M. B., said in video confessions broadcast by the Security Belt forces, that the terrorist operation was carried out on instructions from leaders in the Brotherhood forces linked to Al-Qaeda in the "Modiyah" district.

 He added that the organization had prepared a motorcycle bomb, and assigned it, along with another member (detained by the Security Belt in Abyan), to monitor and detonate the vehicle that carried the soldiers to the Zinjubar market.

He claimed that the other element called (M.K.) used him to participate in the preparation of the operation, and threatened to kill him.

While he confessed that during 2015 he participated in a training course for al-Qaeda elements in the city of Mukalla, Hadramawt Governorate, southeast of Yemen, adding that he lasted 5 days of training before he fled the camp.

In the context, the leader of the Security Belt Forces, Abdo Sanad, said that during the investigations with the two arrested elements, who are residents of Zinjubar District, the relevant agencies obtained important information about the terrorist cell that carried out the attack.
