The Arab Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen announced, on Saturday, the interception and destruction of seven "booby-trapped" drones, launched by the Iranian-backed Houthi militia, towards the southern region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The coalition said that the air force intercepted the drones over Yemeni airspace and confronted the hostile attempt, noting that the Houthis' deliberate and systematic hostile attempts constitute war crimes.

The coalition also confirmed that it takes operational measures to protect civilians and civilian objects from hostile attacks.

The Houthi militia bombed the city of Marib at dawn today with two ballistic missiles as part of its combat escalation, after its members suffered heavy losses during their attacks and infiltration attempts that they carried out since yesterday evening on the fronts of "Al-Kasara, Al-Zour and Wadi Dhanna" in the west and northwest of the city of Marib.

Field sources confirmed the killing of many Houthis and wounding others, in addition to the destruction of combat mechanisms that were pushed to those fronts, by the artillery of the government forces and the resistance in Marib, and in raids by the intense Arab coalition fighters that targeted Houthi sites and reinforcements in the directorates of “Serwah, Majzar, Madghal and Raghwan in Marib.
