Sana'a, NewsYemen:

Dr. Abbas Zaid, brother of the former leader of the Al-Haq Party and Yemeni politician Hassan Zaid, who was assassinated in October 2020, in mysterious circumstances, revealed that his brother had received threats some time before his assassination in the center of Sanaa.

Zaid wrote, on his Facebook page, that they had received an acknowledgment from "a cultural supervisor supported by one of his brothers working in the intelligence service" that his brother (Hassan Zaid) was assassinated by a death sentence issued by them.

He said that one of the brothers of this Houthi cultural supervisor "has been sentenced to two years in prison and has been immunized from powerful security elements," and added, "This confession is in the hands of the security and intelligence services and the Public Prosecution."

Abbas Zaid said that they will not remain silent, "especially as we have been silent about the threats that affected my brother, Hassan Zaid," blaming "the security services in Sana'a are responsible for the safety of his nephews."

He added, "It is enough for us to feel guilty that we were silent about the threat of my brother Hassan Zaid, and we are still secretive about the parties that threatened him and protected and fortified those who threaten his sons to this day."

For her part, Sakina Zaid (Hassan Zaid's daughter) wrote, holding "the security authorities responsible for any danger to which she or her sisters are exposed" as long as the one who threatens us, who admitted that he executed my father's death sentence, remains free.

These developments will likely validate the hypothesis of the assassination of the former youth minister in the Houthi militia government, Hassan Zaid, in inter-group liquidation operations.

Hassan Zaid, who is wanted No. 14 on the list of the Arab coalition, was killed in exchange for a reward of 10 million riyals, on October 27, 2020 AD in Sana’a, in conjunction with strict security measures that took place in Sana’a in preparation for the commemoration of the Prophet’s birthday, and the Iranian military ruler, Hassan Erlo, presented his credentials as an alleged ambassador of Iran to Iran.  militias.
