The UAE aid was the most prominent factor in overcoming the difficult humanitarian and living conditions on Socotra Island.

The United Arab Emirates helps the Socotra Archipelago through several parties, including: Khalifa Humanitarian Foundation, Sultan Bin Khalifa Foundation, Emirates Red Crescent, Abu Dhabi Fund for Development.

These entities cover many different services, including: social, health, food, transportation, education, power generation, water, government work, and civil society.

The total value of aid provided to the island during the period (2015-2021), amounted to 110 million dollars.

The Emirati aid contributed to improving the lives of the residents and providing the necessary services.
