Sana'a, NewsYemen:

The Houthi militia kidnapped the young artist, Aseel Ali Abu Bakr, after they raided a wedding in Sanaa yesterday, when the artist greeted him.

Activists said that the militia took Aseel to the Madhbah security area, which is under their control, after he was kidnapped, and they are likely to transfer him to an unknown location.

The Houthis are pursuing the same artist, whom they consider wanted, and they tried to arrest him in 2019, but he managed to escape from a wedding shortly before they arrived at the wedding venue.

The Iranian arm militia considers the original artist wanted by it for years because of his artistic revival of a number of weddings and weddings in the militia's control areas.

The artist Aseel Abu Bakr is one of the most famous young artists and is good at singing in all Yemeni colors, but his most fame was achieved in mastering the color of singing Al-Lahji, and imitating the songs of the late artist Faisal Alawi.

The Houthis had arrested the artist, Fouad al-Kibsi, in early August, for hours in the Al-Qanaws area in Hodeidah, after he returned from reviving a wedding in the city, before releasing him and looting all his artistic equipment.

The militia issued firmans prohibiting singing at weddings within its areas of control, which includes the prosecution of anyone who does not comply with the decisions banning singing at weddings, while permitting songs and psalms that glorify the Houthis and the dynasty and show the sectarian character and Shiism and incite hatred, blood and war.
