Eight injuries and damage to a civilian plane in a Houthi attack on Abha Airport

On Tuesday, the Arab coalition announced that Saudi air defenses had intercepted a booby-trapped Houthi march that tried to attack Abha International Airport.

The coalition indicated that there were 8 casualties, according to the initial information of the attempted attack on Abha airport, and the scattering of shrapnel.

He also explained that the initial information of the attempted attack on the airport indicated that a civilian plane had been damaged.

He added that "the second attack on Abha International Airport by the Houthi militia within 24 hours, constitutes a war crime."

The coalition had announced, at dawn on Tuesday, that the Saudi defenses had intercepted a booby-trapped Houthi drone that tried to target Abha International Airport in the Kingdom.

The coalition indicated that the shrapnel was scattered as a result of the interception of the drone in the vicinity of Abha Airport, without injuries or damage.

He stressed that the Houthi militia's attempt to deliberately attack Abha Airport is a war crime.

On Monday evening, the Arab coalition intercepted a ballistic missile launched by the Houthi militia towards Najran in Saudi Arabia.

On Sunday evening, the coalition announced that the Saudi air defenses had intercepted and destroyed 3 booby-trapped drones launched by the Houthi militia towards Khamis Mushait in the Kingdom.
