Taiz, NewsYemen:

Soldiers in military brigades under the control of the leaders of the Islah Party, the Brotherhood's branch, continue to close the ports leading to Taiz governorate for the second week in a row.

Local sources told NewsYemen that the forces of the Fourth Brigade, the mountainous infantry, continue to close the Haygat al-Abed road, after truck drivers refused to pay additional royalties to the brigade's points and other militias deployed in Al-Hujariyah countryside.

On the other hand, the commander of the Al-Aqrod Front, Al-Misrakh, who belongs to the 35th Armored Brigade, continues to close the Al-Aqroud-Al-Hawban road, justifying this decision by pressuring the Taiz military axis to raise the random points of the Brotherhood militias, and prevent them from imposing unfair fees on trucks and passenger cars.

The continuation of cutting off the Haijat Al-Abd line leading to Lahj and Aden and the Al-Aqrod road to Al-Hawban caused the transportation of goods to stop, food and consumer prices to rise in Al-Hujariyah and Taiz city, and the movement of passengers between Taiz, Al-Hawban and Aden was halted.
