The Saudi-led Arab coalition warplanes re-launched their intensive raids on the sites of the Houthi militia, the arm of Iran, east of the city of Taiz, in response to their bombing of sites in the south of the country.

A security source told (NewsYemen) that the Arab coalition warplanes launched 15 raids, this morning, Wednesday, on Houthi military and security sites in the Al-Hawban and Al-Jund areas in Al-Ta'aziah district.

According to the source, the Arab coalition aircraft targeted the Taar base in the middle of Taiz airport, the air defense camp, the Jabal Aman site, and the preventive security and Houthi intelligence points in the Al-Dhikra Junction tour and the Taiz road leading to the base in Ibb governorate.

The coalition air raids resulted in the killing and wounding of some members of the Iranian Houthi militia, as well as a number of civilians who happened to be in Houthi points east of Taiz city during the raids.

The raids of the Arab coalition on the Houthi group’s positions east of Taiz came two years after they stopped as part of the air response plans to the militias’ air-missile operations against the forces loyal to the legitimate government at Al-Anad base in the north of Lahj governorate.
