STC official: Every extrajudicial killing is condemned

Aden, NewsYemen:

 The deputy head of the media department in the Southern Transitional Council, Mansour Saleh, said on Friday that "nothing justifies any extrajudicial killing, as it is condemned and unacceptable, and its perpetrators must be referred to the competent judiciary."

Saleh was commenting on the killing of the young Abdul-Malik al-Sanabani, in Tur al-Baha, Lahj Governorate, southern Yemen, and the attempts of some to exploit the incident and employ it politically.

The official in the Transitional Council called for "solidarity with all the victims in Al-Aber, Sayun, and Tur Al-Baha, without politicization or selectivity, and without a dirty politician who condemns a crime and justifies another similar to it, in the service of political agendas."

He pointed out that "politicization causes the loss of justice and the wasting of innocent blood."
