The Arab coalition thwarts the second Houthi attack on Saudi Arabia within 24 hours

The Arab coalition announced, on Monday, the downing of a booby-trapped drone, launched by the Houthi militia, towards the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The coalition said in a statement, that the Saudi defenses intercepted and destroyed a booby-trapped drone launched by the Houthi militia in an attempt to target civilian objects in Khamis Mushait, in the south of the Kingdom.

The coalition reiterated its commitment to take all operational measures to protect civilians and civilian objects from the hostile attempts carried out by the Iranian-backed Houthi militia.

This is the second booby-trapped Houthi drone, within 24 hours, to be intercepted and destroyed while trying to target civilians in Saudi Arabia.

In recent weeks, the Houthi militia has escalated its attacks towards Saudi Arabia, using ballistic missiles and Iranian-made bombs.
