Taiz, NewsYemen:

On Monday, hundreds of people staged a protest sit-in in the city of Taiz, condemning the attack by the Islah party militia, the local branch of the Brotherhood, on the head of the Al-Thawra General Hospital, Dr. Abdulrahim Al-Sami.

The protesters gathered in front of the Al-Thawra General Hospital building, the largest hospital in the city, with the participation of dozens of doctors and activists, to denounce the attack on Dr. Al-Sami, as well as the repeated attacks on the hospital.

They raised banners denouncing and denouncing the Brotherhood's attacks on Al-Thawra General Hospital and the medical staff, and demanded the arrest and prosecution of the perpetrators and the protection of medical personnel.

The protesters denounced the cover-up of the Brotherhood elements under the "League of the Wounded" banner, for committing acts of aggression against medical personnel, refusing to overthrow public institutions through bullying.

And last Saturday, armed men affiliated with the Brotherhood militia, funded by Qatar, assaulted the head of Al-Thawra General Hospital in Taiz, in the presence of the leader of the Brotherhood's axis.

Local sources told NewsYemen that officials in the Brotherhood's Wounded Association, Fahd Hazbar and Hamza Razzaz, and other gunmen beat Dr. Al-Sami'i, while he was entering to meet the leader of the Taiz axis, Major General Khaled Fadel, in the hospital, and Al-Sami'i was transferred to another hospital for treatment.

It is noteworthy that the Brotherhood's crowd militia continues to close Al-Thawra Hospital for the second week in a row, under the pretext of not caring for one of the wounded, and this was denied by the hospital leadership in official statements during the past days.
