The joint forces crush a Houthi attack south of Hodeidah

Hodeidah, NewsYemen:

On Tuesday, the joint forces thwarted an infiltration attempt by the Houthi militia on the Hais front in Hodeidah Governorate (western Yemen), and incurred losses.

The military media of the joint forces stated that the Houthi militia sent reinforcements from the Al-Jarrahi Directorate, in an attempt to rearrange its defenses on the Hais front from two axes.

He said that units of the joint forces clashed with militia members with various medium and heavy weapons and forced them to flee after a number of their members were killed and wounded.

He stressed that the joint forces have strengthened their control over the entire lines of contact in the Hais axes, specifically in the remote areas from which the Houthi militia tried to infiltrate.
