Shabwa, NewsYemen:

The security forces loyal to the Islah authority launched a campaign of arrests against the residents of Shabwa governorate, to thwart the Shabwa major event called for by the Transitional Council, next Wednesday, in the governorate.

Sources reported that Brotherhood militias carried out a massive arrest campaign against the people of Shabwa and raided the homes of loyalists of the Southern Transitional Council, in anticipation of the event.

The Brotherhood’s authority also deployed its militias at the entrances and exits of cities, and reinforced them with dozens of crews and armored vehicles, in an attempt to thwart the peaceful event.

Brotherhood militias raided a hotel in Ataq, without legal justification, and tampered with its contents, according to its owner.

The leadership of the Shabwa Transitional Council had called on the people of Shabwa to go out in peaceful demonstrations in all districts of the governorate, next Wednesday, to reject the lawlessness, smuggling and the spread of chaos and tribal disputes.

Shabwa governorate is experiencing bad conditions as a result of the failure of the local authority loyal to the Muslim Brotherhood, which has led to the deterioration of services, power cuts and a rise in the price of oil derivatives.
