Aden, NewsYemen:

The leader of the National Resistance, head of the Political Bureau, Brigadier General Tariq Muhammad Abdullah Saleh, confirmed, on Tuesday, that the Houthi criminal gang's hatred against the Yemenis was evident by targeting their vital and historical civilian facilities in the context of implementing the Iranian project to dominate the region.

This came during his visit, today, Tuesday, September 14, 2021, to the port of Mocha and its facilities, on a second visit since the vital port was subjected to a terrorist attack by the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen.

Brigadier Tariq Saleh inspected the port’s employees and workers who continued to operate the port despite the crime, in high spirits, stressing that the joint forces appreciate their courage and share the national battle shared by the military and civilians on the western coast in general and in Mocha and its port in particular.

He was briefed on the damage caused to the port, including the Emirates Red Crescent support stores for relief organizations operating on the West Coast, which were burned as a result of the barbaric attack on a vital facility that serves all Yemenis.

The leader of the National Resistance commended the efforts of the port’s employees and workers and the determination he has felt since the port resumed its national work in the service of the citizens months ago;  And thwarting the Houthi plan that aimed to destroy it, urging the port administration to redouble efforts in order to restore the port to what it was.

He pointed out that the people of the city's demonstration calling for the criminal Houthis to be held accountable and calling on the government and the local authority to support the resumption of the port's work comes as a translation of their national awareness.

Brigadier-General Tariq Saleh visited the port of Mocha last Saturday morning, minutes after the terrorist targeting, and supervised the evacuation plans and was assured of the results of the air defense plan that succeeded in thwarting the Houthi attack and preventing it from achieving any of its goals.

After the visit, Brigadier General Tariq announced the failure of the Iranian September 11 plan, which wanted to erase our national project of reviving the oldest Red Sea ports and returning it to readiness to serve Yemen and Yemenis.

He added, in a brief statement, that the Death Militia sends tools of destruction and men kidnap them before they achieve their goals.

The Iranian-backed Houthi militia targeted the Mocha port with a terrorist attack using ballistic missiles and drones. The ground defenses of the joint forces managed to shoot down three of them, while the bombing damaged the warehouses of a number of relief organizations, imported merchants, and a number of port offices and its berth.
