Aden, NewsYemen:

The Sana’a Center for Studies said that the Islah Party, the local branch of the Brotherhood, used the official military leadership of the government forces effectively to serve its goals and appointed loyalists to it in the command center of the Taiz military axis, such as Khaled Fadel as the leader of the axis, and Abdo Farhan Al-Mikhlafi, known as "Salem", as an advisor to the leader.  .

In a report recently published by the Center entitled "Taiz.. The Stronghold of Irregular Militias," the center confirmed that the axis adviser, "Salem", works independently of state institutions, and fully abides by the directives issued by the head of the Supreme Authority of the Islah Party, Muhammad al-Yadoumi, who resides in Istanbul.

The report pointed out that Salem is a long-time member of the Brotherhood, as he ran the military wing of the group in the cities of Taiz and Lahj, and also the hidden engineer to form the armed factions that fought the Yemeni army during the 2011 crisis.

He stressed the restructuring of the military axes of Taiz and Lahj to reflect the formation of the unity government and to exclude any military leaders working to use the army to achieve narrow political goals, in reference to the Brotherhood's control of the leadership and brigades of the two axes under the guise of legitimacy.

The Sana'a Center for Studies called on the legitimate government to hold accountable those responsible for the irregular recruitment process outside the framework of the military establishment, and those who allow the use of the national army's equipment and weapons for political ends.
