Marib, NewsYemen:

Tribal sources reported that the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, took control of Sabah (Wednesday), on the Hareeb district in the Marib governorate, in the east of the country.

This took place a day after the Houthi militia took control of the Bayhan districts in Shabwa governorate (Ain, Al-Olya, and Usaylan), after the armed factions affiliated with legitimacy withdrew without confrontations.

And videos spread, showing Houthi fighters and their military vehicles inside the "Hareeb" center, as they seized the district to the south of the city of Marib, after limited confrontations.

It pointed out that fighters from local tribes tried to confront the militia, while the legitimate government forces left them without support, which enabled the Houthis to overcome them and storm the center of the district.

On Tuesday, the Houthi militia advanced in the Bayhan axis in Shabwa governorate, and took over the districts of Ain, Al-Olya, and Usaylan without armed confrontations.

Local sources told NewsYemen that the Houthi militia overthrew the three districts within one hour, taking advantage of the withdrawal of the Brotherhood's forces, before their arrival, describing what happened as "betrayal, surrender and receipt."

The Houthis' control of Bayhan in Shabwa governorate would enable them to besiege Marib  from the east after it besieged it from the south, west and northwest.
