Taiz, NewsYemen:

The Taiz military axis, which is under the control of the Muslim Brotherhood, concluded an exchange deal for prisoners and kidnapped people with the Houthi militia, an arm of Iran, on Wednesday, in the Taiz governorate in central Yemen.

Local sources told NewsYemen that the Brotherhood's militias concluded a prisoner and kidnapped exchange deal with the militias. The Brotherhood was represented by Dhia al-Haq al-Ahdal, while the Houthis were represented by their supervisor, Ahmed Amin al-Masawi.

According to the sources, the exchange deal took place, this morning, Wednesday, in the Sami district, south of Taiz, according to which 70 Houthi prisoners were handed over in exchange for 136 prisoners and abductees of civilians.

Activists warned against the Brotherhood's continued encouragement of the Houthi militia to kidnap civilians in the streets, and to barter them for the release of their fighters from Taiz prisons.
