Violent battles continue south of Marib

Violent battles continue between the army forces and the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, on the southern Marib fronts, with the latter pushing in successive patterns.

Field sources told NewsYemen that the Houthi militia managed, on Saturday, to reach the mountain range adjacent to the Al-Khishina camp in the Juba district, and according to the source, the militia managed to control the camp.

The militia was able to circumvent the army forces, at dawn today, Saturday, and reach the Al-Jawbah Al-Bayda junction, but the tribal forces managed to defeat them and inflict dozens of dead and wounded.

Clashes continue between tribal forces and the Houthi militia in the Naseer area of the Juba district, without progress by the Houthis, while the army forces were unable to regain positions they lost, last Thursday, in the same area.

One of the fighters says that the battles have reached the peak of their violence and ferocity today in the strait of the mountains in the Free Zone of Murad, pointing to the militia's loss of dozens of its members, today, Saturday, while seven of the heroes of the Murad tribes were martyred.
