Aden, NewsYemen:

A gunman in the ranks of a group described by the security services in Aden as "outlaw elements" called on the people of Aden to revolt against those he described as "outlaw elements, prostitutes and people of war," considering them to be outlaws for "their rebellion against the ruler, Abd Rabbo," as he put it.

This public incitement against the security services and counter-terrorism forces came in a video clip broadcast by activists on social networks on the evening of Saturday, October 2, by an armed man who appears to be involved in the ranks of the elements fighting the security services in Aden.

The armed man called on the people of Aden to "make ambushes for the forces and mechanisms of the transitional and to intercept them," and said that "the Nubian imam and the youth are fine." He addressed the people of Aden, saying: "Now it is the turn of the people of Aden," promising to write what he said is a plan that he will send to everyone.  Activists considered the gunman's talk aiming to relieve pressure on his group in the city of Crater.

He called for stationing on buildings, intercepting vehicles with old cars, opening fronts in other areas to relieve pressure on them in Crater, and promising that the legitimate government would buy from his group the looted weapons and machinery.

Commenting on the video, Yemeni writer and journalist Khaled Salman said: "Muhammad Ali Othman is a terrorist who calls, in a five-minute tape, to barricade in all the streets, draws a plan for confrontation, puts his phone numbers, and incites jihad, along with what he describes as a mujahid imam Al-Nubi, and fighting until the last man from the people of Aden. They are two terrorists, even if the uniforms and the position of the bullet casing differ."
