Gunmen affiliated with the Houthi militia, the arm of Iran in Yemen, assassinated the son of the martyr, Nima Rassam, this morning, in the Al-Hawban area, east of the city of Taiz in the center of the country.

 A local source told NewsYemen that the young citizen, Muhammad Al-Shihabi, left yesterday from the city of Taiz to the Al-Hawban area to follow up on the inheritance case to obtain his mother's inheritance from the lands in the Al-Hashmah area, north of the city of Taiz.

According to the source, gunmen affiliated with the Houthi militia, known for looting lands, assassinated Muhammad Al-Shihabi while he was passing on Al-Hawban Road, east of Taiz, and the perpetrators fled to an unknown destination.

Armed gangs affiliated with the Houthis have been involved with the Brotherhood’s gangs in looting the lands and homes of citizens and displaced people in the city of Taiz and its suburbs since the beginning of the war.
